Richard Mathenge

Richard Mathenge is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Regional Ecosystem Coordinator at Tiko since September 2021, focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights programming for Adolescents, Girls, and Young Women (AGYW). Prior experience includes a role as Project Field Officer for the DFID-funded Girls Education Challenge at sQuidcard, where Richard implemented e-learning initiatives for primary school pupils, and a position as a Numeracy Teacher in the Accelerated Education Project for urban refugees with Xavier Project. Richard has also contributed to various organizations, including HOPE worldwide Kenya as a Project Assistant for orphans and vulnerable children, and as Programs Coordinator at Trickle Up Community Based Organization, where youth empowerment was a key focus. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from Egerton University.
