John Tyson is an experienced professional in optical metrology and non-destructive testing, currently serving as President of Trilion Quality Systems since September 1998, focusing on advanced systems and services for industry, the Department of Defense, and academia. Prior to this role, John Tyson was the Vice President at Laser Technology from November 1982 to 1998, where development efforts led to six patents in laser holography and laser shearography systems. John Tyson began their career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, working on offshore oil well completion from July 1981 to July 1982. John Tyson holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science from Duke University, earned between 1977 and 1981, and graduated from Haverford School, completing high school in 1977.
