Ben New

Ben New has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they hold the position of Product CTO at Trilogy, where they are responsible for making important technical decisions about a large portfolio of products and defining the assembly line process used by the team and wider company. Prior to this, Ben worked as a Senior Consultant at Readify, where they developed an AWS capability and delivered successful engagements across different technical stacks. Ben also served as a Technical Lead at Gaia Resources, converting the company to cloud-based infrastructure and completing projects using serverless technologies. Ben's experience includes roles as a Contract Developer at Cash Converters and BankWest, where they were involved in the development and maintenance of various applications. Ben also owned and operated their own business, Leftclick.com.au, and worked as the Head of Digital / Senior Web Developer at Workhouse Advertising. Additionally, Ben worked as a Contract Application Developer at Stella Travel Solutions and Titan Interactive, where they contributed to web application projects. Overall, Ben's work experience showcases their technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and proficiency in various technologies and industries.

Ben New received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Murdoch University, which they attended from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Melville Senior High School from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Ben has also obtained certifications such as the Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in June 2018, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2018.
