Nilanjan De has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nilanjan is currently the SVP of Software Engineering and Operations at Trilogy, where they manage a portfolio of enterprise products, drives engineering decisions, and collaborates with product teams to enhance features and improve uptime. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at Versata, leading the delivery of enterprise software solutions and reducing IT spending. Nilanjan also co-founded and served as the CTO of FireCompass, a SaaS product for IT Attack Surface Enumeration and Management. During their tenure, they built a distributed internet-wide scanning engine and scaled the company's revenue from zero to $500k+. Additionally, Nilanjan contributed as an Advisor at CISOPlatform, delivering talks and workshops and creating best practice frameworks for CISOs. Nilanjan had a successful career at Cigital, Inc, where they played a crucial role in integrating iViZ Security with Cigital Inc. and managing its operations, delivery, and financial integration. Prior to that, Nilanjan co-founded iViZ Techno Solutions, where they raised VC funding and built a cloud-based penetration testing product. Nilanjan also gained research experience as a Research Consultant at Advanced VLSI Design Laboratory, IIT Kharagpur, and interned at Texas Instruments.

Nilanjan De completed their Bachelor of Technology (Hons) degree in E & ECE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. This education took place from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Nilanjan obtained a certification in Problem Solving from HackerRank in November 2022.
