Andrew Cheek

Andrew Cheek has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew started their career in 2016 as an Intern at BEST Kids, Inc., where they conducted research, wrote, and designed the Mentor Activity Guide Booklet. Andrew also created and edited staff Training Videos during their time there.

In 2017, Andrew co-founded and managed the Vida String Quartet, where they focused on brand identity designs, organizational systems, concert bookings, scheduling, and social media creation. Andrew developed an overall business plan for the quartet.

From 2018 to 2019, Andrew worked as a Contributing Writer and Photographer for the Clarion Content Media blog, covering events, festivals, local news, and artist interviews.

Andrew also served as a Copywriter, Editor-in-Chief, and Writing Intern at Beaumonde | Interactive Marketing + Creative Studio from 2017 to 2019. In these roles, they managed company blogs, implemented SEO strategies, tracked KPIs, managed social media, designed websites, and conducted market research. Andrew achieved significant results, including increasing SERP impressions and website clicks.

At CAM Raleigh, Andrew worked as an Education Intern in 2019, assisting with youth art classes, gallery events, and First Friday activities.

From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Project Manager and Editor at Beaumonde, where they focused on client-focused content marketing, social media planning, analytics reporting, and copywriting. Andrew specialized in interactive marketing and experiential technologies.

In 2018, Andrew started working at Raleigh Raw as an Inventory and Ordering Manager, Web Designer, and Back of House. In these roles, they managed inventory sheets, optimized ordering systems, and redesigned the company's website structure to drive sales and improve the customer experience.

Andrew also gained experience as an SEO Copywriting Associate at Go Fish Digital from 2021 to 2022, where they specialized in client copywriting and SEO optimization.

Currently, Andrew is working as a Digital Content Writer at TriMark Digital, starting in 2022.

Andrew Cheek attended North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2017. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters with a concentration in Film.
