Barry Heffernan has extensive experience in surveying and technical support, having begun his career as a Surveyor at Davis Ogilvie and Partners from November 1995 to July 2000. Following that, Barry served as a Hydrographic Surveyor at Oceanfix International Ltd from September 2000 to October 2002, and returned to Davis Ogilvie and Partners Ltd as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor from November 2002 to December 2003. Barry's expertise expanded at Trimble Inc. with various roles including Technical Support Specialist, Application Engineer, Construction Support Supervisor for Asia Pacific, Master Tester, Senior Applications Specialist, and Motorgrader Alpha lead between 2004 and 2015. Additionally, Barry worked as a CTCT Test Team Manager at Trimble Navigation in Christchurch from August 2012 to October 2015. Barry holds a Bachelor of Surveying degree from the University of Otago, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
