Douglas Jost

Douglas Jost is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of FPGA and firmware engineering, primarily within the GNSS domain. Presently serving as a Senior FPGA Engineer at Trimble Inc. since August 2022, Douglas previously held significant roles at Intel Corporation, including Senior Firmware Engineer and GNSS Systems Architect, contributing to GNSS PHY and systems architecture from February 2015 to July 2022. Prior to that, Douglas worked as a Principal Consultant at Engenium Digital and as Lead GNSS Systems Architect at Nexteq Navigation, where key responsibilities included leading a digital team to design and implement competitive GNSS OEM receivers. Additional experience includes roles at Enerflow Industries, Ingenious Digital Solutions, Baseband Technologies, Novatel Wireless, and SOS Consultants International across various engineering and system administration capacities. Douglas earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2003.
