Henri Pitkänen is currently leading Structures Applied AI research initiatives, focusing on the integration of AI solutions within the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. They previously held roles as a Product Owner and Software Specialist at Trimble Inc., where they worked on the specification and planning of structures drawing features. As a BIM Specialist earlier at Trimble, Henri contributed to software management and the lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives for Tekla Structures. Before joining Trimble, Henri worked as a Structural Engineer at Koskela Consulting Oy, providing structural design for civil projects. Henri is pursuing a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and Computer Science at Aalto University.
