Jim Palermo

Jim Palermo currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Trimble Inc., a position held since August 2025. Previously, Jim held the same title at Red Hat from June 2010 to January 2025, where responsibilities included steering change adoption, building technology foundations to align with corporate missions, and overseeing governance and compliance. Additional roles at Red Hat involved being Vice President of Digital Solutions Delivery and Senior Director of IT eXperience, focusing on global infrastructure services and corporate IT shared services, respectively. Jim's earlier career includes positions at Cisco and Nortel Networks, where expertise was developed in IT service management, infrastructure, and database administration.
