Johannes Traugott

Johannes Traugott possesses extensive experience in engineering and navigation technologies, currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Automotive and Smartphone Navigation at Trimble Inc. since November 2010, overseeing precise positioning initiatives. Johannes has held various leadership roles, including Senior Manager and Engineering Manager, focusing on safety-critical navigation software development and sensor fusion technologies. Earlier experience includes a research and teaching assistant position at the Technical University of Munich, where contributions were made to the Institute of Flight System Dynamics. Johannes earned a Dr.-Ing. in Aerospace/Satellite Navigation and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and ENSICA Toulouse.
