Michael Fitzgerald has experience as an Application Engineer Intern at RTI, where a web-based avionics demo was developed in collaboration with field application engineers, and a web controller for flight simulators was created using React and Node. Prior to this role, Michael contributed as a Research Assistant at Lehigh University, designing and implementing perception and SLAM systems for autonomous robotics and served as a Teaching Assistant for mathematics and computer science courses. Michael is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Lehigh University, expected to graduate in 2024, and will take on a Software Engineer II role at Trimble Inc. in June 2025.
