Oscar Olsson

Oscar Olsson is an Optical Design Lead at Trimble Inc., where they focus on hardware camera design and visual odometry. They previously served as a Scientist in Optoelectronics and Optomechanics at Uni Research Polytec AS from 2013 to 2016, contributing to the development of an autonomous navigation system for mobile robots. With earlier experience as an Optronics Specialist at ÅF and Mechanical Assembler at ABB, Oscar has built a diverse background in optical systems and optomechanical design. Oscar holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Physics from both Heriot-Watt University and the University of St. Andrews, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
