Pete Mahoney is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in GIS and software development across multiple organizations. Currently employed at Trimble Inc. since June 2020, Pete contributes to the development and maintenance of software and hardware systems for precision farming operations. Prior to this role, Pete worked at Geographic Information Services, Inc. (GISinc) from May 2012 to April 2020, serving as both a Senior Application Architect and Senior Application Developer, where contributions included projects for the US Navy and extensive use of Esri's APIs. Earlier experiences include roles at Farragut Systems, Hart InterCivic, and as a GIS Software Engineer, starting at Farragut Systems in 2000. Pete's career began with a foray into performance with Up with People in 1992.
