Peter Shaw

Peter Shaw is an experienced engineering director specializing in cloud solutions for geospatial and civil construction sectors at Trimble Inc. since May 2016, holding multiple leadership positions including Engineering Director for various divisions. Over a career spanning from 1990 to the present, Peter has held roles at Powerhouse Wind Ltd as Director, and previously led software engineering at ikeGPS and managed software development at Trimble Navigation. Peter's extensive expertise includes overseeing geospatial cloud and mobile development, leading GIS software applications, and contributing to the Christchurch engineering base for MSO New York, now Diligent Corporation. Peter's early career includes software engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and Fisher and Paykel. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
