Steve Benner

Steve Benner is a geospatial business development professional and commercial pilot with over 4,000 flight hours, a third of which involves flying LiDAR and imagery for aerial surveys. They founded AviaTerra Geospatial, Inc., where they served as President and Aerial Survey Pilot, overseeing business development and flight operations while achieving profitability within two years. Previously, they held various roles at companies such as NovaLIS Technologies, Trimble Inc., and EagleView, where they focused on GIS applications and asset management in the local government sector. Steve Benner earned a BS in Earth Science with a concentration in cartography and remote sensing from Penn State University.
