Trevor Michel-Smith

Trevor Michel-Smith is a Senior Hardware Engineer at Trimble Navigation, where they have worked since 2006. With over 30 years of experience in embedded hardware and software design, Trevor has expertise in languages such as Python, Ruby, C, and C++, as well as FPGA hardware and Verilog HDL design for SDR radio receivers. Prior to Trimble, they held senior engineering roles at X-PLOR Telecoms, Tait Radio Communications, and Allied Telesis, focusing on software, firmware, and hardware design. Trevor earned a BSc in Electronics from the University of Natal from 1984 to 1989.
