William Irvin

Project Engineer - Mechanical Design

William Irvin has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in engineering and design. William is currently working as a Project Engineer at TriMech since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lochinvar, LLC from 2016 to 2022, where they held roles as a Designer and CAD Operator, responsible for creating and modifying solid models using Solidworks and SAP.

Before Lochinvar, LLC, William worked at THK Rhythm North America as a Trainer for Automated Machining from 2014 to 2016. William also had experience as a Project Engineer at Foutch Industries LLC from 2013 to 2014, working on design, prototyping, testing, and project management.

In addition, William worked as a Mechanical Engineer I at Eaton Corporation in 2013, where they completed calculations, diagrams, and 3D modeling using ProE and AutoCAD. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Inspector/Trimmer at HMMI from 2010 to 2012, performing dimensional and visual inspections.

Early in their career, William worked as a Product Engineer at Flowserve from 2001 to 2007, where they managed a project's engineering tasks, testing, and documentation. William also gained experience in manufacturing engineering at ArvinMeritor from 1997 to 2000, where they performed inspections, coordinated manufacturing schedules, and improved production efficiency.

William Irvin completed their education at three different institutions. In 1987, they enrolled at Jackson Christian School and obtained their diploma in 1992. Following this, they attended Tennessee Technological University from 1995 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Most recently, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Cumberland University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their academic qualifications, William Irvin has also obtained several certifications from Dassault Systèmes, including Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) in Advanced Drawing Tools in July 2018, Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) in Mechanical Design in May 2018, and Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) in Mechanical Design in December 2016.
