Don van Riel

Don van Riel is the Managing Director of Trimodal Europe BV and has held this position since 1998. They are actively involved in various industry groups, including the railtech steering group of Cefic and the clecat rail working group on behalf of Fenex. Don has served as Chairman of the Nederlandse Vereniging Particuliere Goederenwagens since 2000 and was previously the Chairman of Belangenvereniging Zeehaven Expediteurs from 2015 to 2023. Committed to the rail industry, they focus on maintaining economic single wagon transport and advocating for a level playing field among railway operators.
