Derek Degroot

Derek DeGroot's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Trinitas Farming and Mahi Pono in 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Finance at both companies. From 2014 to 2022, Derek worked at Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc., where they held various positions such as Director of Dairy Procurement and Dairy Procurement Manager. Derek also worked as a Strategic Planning Analyst and a Business Analyst (Financial) during their time there. Before that, Derek worked as a Consultant at Deloitte in 2013 and as a Graduate Assistant at Penn State University from 2011 to 2013. Derek also had internships at Cushman & Wakefield in 2012 and worked as a Para Educator III Substitute at Davis Joint Unified School District in 2011. Derek's earliest work experience was as an AppleCare Home-Based Agent at Apple in 2009.

Derek DeGroot completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management and Finance from Penn State University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2010.
