Deveral Capps

Deveral Capps has extensive experience in academia and the legal profession, currently serving as Dean and Head of Leeds Law School at Leeds Beckett University since February 2015. Capps has been a Door Tenant at Trinity Chambers since May 2007 and has held directorship roles at BALLET LORENT LIMITED and NOVEMBER CLUB, both national portfolio organizations specializing in the arts. Previous academic positions include Principal Lecturer at Northumbria University, where responsibilities spanned various roles including Director of International Development and Director of Strategic Development, and Law Lecturer at University Campus Suffolk. Capps completed formal education with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Sheffield Hallam University, followed by LLM degrees from Queen's University Belfast and Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Bar Vocational Course from Inns of Court School of Law.
