Matthew Wiesen

Matthew Wiesen has a diverse work history, starting with their role as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office from 2008 to 2009. In this position, they examined patent applications in the field of Computer Networks and conducted prior art searches to determine patentability.

From 2009 to 2011, Matthew worked at the Department of State in the Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) as a Network Administrator III, System Administrator, and Software Developer. Here, they maintained numerous United States Embassy websites in various languages.

Matthew then joined T. Rowe Price in 2011 and took on roles such as Senior Data Center System Administrator, Software Developer, and Software Team Lead. Matthew was responsible for supporting Data Center Operations and managing custom and open source applications. Additionally, they led a software team and worked on projects involving legacy application replacement and newer technology frameworks.

In 2018, Matthew transitioned to Trinity Cyber as a Senior Full Stack Web Developer. Trinity Cyber specializes in military-grade cybersecurity services. Matthew's role involves providing proactive and adaptive security measures and identifying adversary activity from outside networks.

Throughout their career, Matthew has gained experience in system administration, software development, and web development, and has demonstrated leadership skills in team management and technical decision-making.

Matthew Wiesen attended Purdue University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and a BSCmpE degree in Computer Engineering.
