Kevin Gregory

Kevin Gregory has extensive experience in the maritime industry, with a career spanning over two decades. Kevin currently works as the Head of Planning and Commercial at Trinity House. Prior to this, they served as a Trustee and Non-Executive Director at MID ESSEX ANGLICAN ACADEMY TRUST, where they were responsible for overseeing the educational performance, staff management, and financial performance of two schools.

Kevin also held significant roles at IALA, including Education and Development Manager, where they provided guidance on policy formulation and implemented a strategic Master Plan. Kevin also represented the International Harbourmasters Association (IMHA) as their representative to IALA, advocating for global training and certification policies.

As the Managing Director and CEO of London Maritime Group, Kevin advised clients on port marine strategy and policy, chaired the Steering Committee for the 2018 IHMA Congress, and provided industry insights for tenders.

In their career, Kevin also served in various capacities at the International Maritime Organization, ESPO (European Sea Ports Organisation), and the Port of London Authority. Kevin excelled in managing teams, developing commercial strategies, and representing the ports industry in European Commission expert groups.

Kevin started their career as a Navigating Officer at P&O Ferries and P&O Nedlloyd. Kevin holds a wealth of experience in vessel traffic services and safety of navigation.

Kevin Gregory's education history includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Open University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2006. Kevin then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector at Anglia Ruskin University from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they attended Solent University from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science. Kevin also participated in a course at IALA from 2003 to 2018, focusing on international aids to navigation, specifically strategy, governance, risk management, and operations.
