Wayne Gensler

Wayne Gensler, MBA, has an extensive work history in the transportation industry. Wayne is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Trinity Metro since August 2018. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Contract Operated Services at MTA of Harris County Metro from October 2016 to August 2018. In this position, they managed service delivery for contracted operated services, including fixed route and paratransit operations. Gensler also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at MV Transportation from June 2015 to August 2016. Before that, they were the Region Vice President at First Student from February 2008 to June 2015, where they had comprehensive experience in business development and operations management. Additionally, they held roles as a Market Vice President at Republic Services in 2008, Vice President GM at Laidlaw Education Services/First Student from 1991 to 2008, and Terminal Manager at Leaseway Transportation from June 1983 to June 1991.

Wayne Gensler obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University from 1979 to 1981. Wayne later pursued higher education and graduated with an MBA degree in Administration from Webster University between 1998 and 2000.
