Tom Weiss

Tom Weiss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom began their career in sales and account management at Imagesmith of Santa Cruz in 2000. Tom then moved on to work as a construction specialist at the Christian Appalachian Project from 2001 to 2003, and later joined Beaches Habitat for Humanity as a construction specialist full-time. In 2004, they became the facilities director at LSA Family Health Services.

In 2008, Tom transitioned into sales and project management, selling and managing high-end residential installations of motorized window treatments at Blindtek Designer Systems. Tom continued in the sales field, this time in the solar energy industry, as a solar energy specialist at GeoPeak Energy LLC from 2010 to 2011.

Tom then took on roles in solar PV sales management, first as the East Coast solar PV sales manager at aleo solar in 2011, and then as the senior East Coast sales manager at NRG Home Solar from 2011 to 2014. During their time at NRG Home Solar, they developed a partner network of solar installers, managed a team, and researched current market events and drivers.

From 2014 to 2016, Tom worked as the director of the Eastern U.S. region at Sunnova, before transitioning to their current role as the director of partner finance at Trinity Solar since 2016.

Tom Weiss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
