Thomas Dimitri

Thomas Dimitri has completed four seasons as an assistant coach of the Tigers track & field teams, working primarily with vertical jumps.

Coach Dimitri has played a major role in the Tiger men's four consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, and the women's team's three titles in four years. Trinity coaches were elected the SCAC Men's and Women's Coaching Staff of the Year in 2013, 2015, and 2016; and the Men's Staff of the Year in 2014.

Coach Dimitri was a three-time NCAA Division III All-American in the pole vault, while competing for McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. He earned NCAA Outdoor All-America honors in 2009 and 2010, and Indoor accolades in 2010. Coach Dimitri also captured the American Southwest Conference pole vault title on three occasions.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and human performance (pre-professional concentration) from McMurry in 2010. After graduation, Coach Dimitri volunteered at Abilene Christian University as pole vault coach.
