Timothy Appignani

Timothy Appignani, PhD, is currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Trinity University since August 2022. Prior to this role, Appignani was an Adjunct Professor at St. Edward's University from January 2017 to November 2023, teaching courses in the Communication Department, including Media and Communication and Advanced Film Theory. Appignani also held Adjunct Professor positions at Austin Community College from August 2019 to November 2022. During doctoral studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Appignani was a Teaching Assistant (Instructor of Record) from August 2011 to August 2019, delivering courses such as Writing for Media and Gender and Communication. Appignani earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master's degree in History/Liberal Arts from Temple University, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Penn State University.
