Gergely B. is an experienced energy policy consultant currently working at Trinomics since June 2022, focusing on challenges related to the energy transition and independence of the European Union. Prior experience includes roles as a student assistant at Technische Universiteit Delft, where Gergely co-organized the Grand Challenge Accepted 2021 Thesis Conference, and as a graduate teaching assistant for the Industrial Ecology Project. Gergely has also served as a graduate research analyst at Deltares, contributing to a UNESCO resilience-building program in Zimbabwe, while exploring climate change impact through mathematical modeling. Earlier in the career, Gergely was a civil design engineer at Pest-Terv Ltd., designing utility systems, and a BIM modeler intern at Trimble Inc., where 3D models were developed for reconstructive projects in the United States. Gergely holds a master’s degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
