Long Lam is a seasoned consultant with extensive experience in carbon pricing, EU emissions trading systems, and industrial roadmaps. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Trinomics since January 2021, Long previously worked as a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse from March 2018 to December 2020, and as a Senior Consultant at Ecofys from February 2012 to February 2018. Long's expertise encompasses market-based mechanisms, carbon leakage, and competitiveness, with a foundational role as an Energy & Climate Policy consultant in London. Earlier experience includes a position as a Visa officer at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Netherlands and an internship focused on battery research at MisterGreen. Long holds an MSc in Electrical Sustainable Energy from Delft University of Technology and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, along with studies at Imperial College London and other educational qualifications.
