Ramesh Ramaswami has a long and varied work history. Ramesh began their career in 1988 as General Manager Information Technology and Finance for Rane Madras Limited in Madras, India. In 1996, they moved to Dubai, UAE and took on the role of Controller for Al Ahmadiah Contracting and Trading. Two years later, they joined Al Fajer Information Services in Dubai as Manager. In 2000, they moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada to become the Project Manager/Business Analyst for the Vancouver Airport Authority. Since 2011, they have been the Supply Chain Lead Consultant for LADWP, where they were involved with MAXIMO 7 prior to upgrading the inventory, receiving and requisition functions from Maximo 7.5 to Maximo 7.6.

Ramesh Ramaswami has a diverse educational background. Ramesh completed their Higher Secondary from DTEA Higher Secondary School Mandir Marg New Delhi in 1973. Ramesh then went on to pursue a B.Sc.Engg in Mechanical from Delhi College of Engineering, which they completed in 1978. In 1985, they completed their PGDIE in Industrial Engineering from National Institute of Industrial Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from various institutions such as ISACA, Project Management Institute, The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., The Institute Of Cost Accountants Of India, IMA | Institute of Management Accountants, IBM, EXIN, and PMI-Project Management Institute.
