Marcel Proos

Marcel Proos is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in corporate communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Head of Group Corporate Communications at Triodos Bank since September 2018, Marcel has held various roles in the organization, including Manager of External Communications and Senior Corporate Communications Officer. Prior experience includes significant positions at Rijkswaterstaat and the Autoriteit Financiële Markten, where responsibilities encompassed strategic communication advice, stakeholder management, and proactive media engagement. Marcel also has experience in journalism, having worked as a reporter for leading media organizations, and holds a Master’s degree in History from Leiden University, complemented by studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
