Luís Baía is currently a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at TripAdvisor, where they leverage their background in data science to drive the development of machine learning products. Previously, Luís held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at Revolut and Lead Data Scientist at Farfetch, leading teams on innovative projects that utilized NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems. With a master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Universidade do Porto and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Universidade de Coimbra, Luís has a solid academic foundation complemented by a diverse professional experience in the tech industry.
