Maciek Klimkowski is an experienced software engineer and architect with a strong background in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Tripadvisor since February 2021, Maciek previously held the position of Principal Software Architect and CTO at Informed Communications Group Inc from July 2011 to February 2021. Earlier in the career, Maciek worked at IBM Canada Ltd. as a Software Engineer focused on Java Virtual Machines from April 2004 to June 2011. Further experience includes software engineering roles at Elliptic Semiconductor, SOMA Networks, Chrysalis ITS, and International Datacasting. Maciek holds a Bachelor’s degree with High Honours in Computer Science from Carleton University, earned between 1995 and 2000.
