Sofia Aparicio

Sofia Aparicio is a Machine Learning Scientist II at Tripadvisor since July 2023, previously serving as a Research Scientist at OutSystems where research focused on AI applications in low code platforms, including Seq2Seq models and data quality enhancement. Prior to this role, Sofia worked as a Researcher at INESC-ID and led a Multimedia Team at SINFO, responsible for creative content development for social media and event promotion. Sofia has held the position of Vice Chair at the ISCTE-IUL ACM Student Chapter and holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, along with additional qualifications from MIT, Udacity, and various European institutions.
