Steffan Corley

Steffan Corley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steffan started their career in 1997 as a Research Supervisor at Sharp Laboratories of Europe. Steffan then joined RM Education in 2005, where they held various roles including Principal Software Engineer, Technical Development Manager, Lead Architect, and Lead/Chief Architect. At RM Education, they were involved in significant projects such as the development of RM Unify, Glow, and RM Learning Platform. Steffan then worked at Zinc Ahead Ltd as the Chief Architect, where they were responsible for defining and implementing improved architecture for the Zinc product suite. Since 2016, Steffan has been working at Tripadvisor. Steffan initially served as a Technical Manager, leading a team focused on financial processes, reporting, and fraud prevention for the TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals platform. Steffan was also involved in the rewrite of the Vacation Rentals booking system. Currently, Steffan holds the position of Director of Engineering at Tripadvisor.

Steffan Corley has a strong academic background in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. From 1989 to 1993, they attended The University of Edinburgh, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence. Steffan furthered their education at the same institution and completed a PhD program in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, Steffan Corley obtained a certification in TOGAF 9 from The Open Group in April 2014.
