Glenn Walker has a wealth of experience in the technology sector. Glenn began their career in 1997 as an IT Management Officer at the Central Computers and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA). In 1998, they joined Moneyfacts Group plc as a Development Team Leader and Analyst Programmer, eventually becoming Head of Development and Deputy Head of IT. In 2008, they began acting in an advisory role for Village People Magazines Ltd., providing IT and digital solutions and services. From 2015 to present, they have held various roles at Tripism, ctostartup, and Bango. At Tripism, they are the Chief Technology Officer, working with a start-up developing innovative, disruptive technologies to influence corporate travel. At ctostartup, they are the Chief Technology Officer and Founder, offering technology and executive expertise to start-up companies looking to leverage skills with MVP and Technology Development. At Bango, they have held the roles of Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President of Development, Vice President of Development, and Content Provider Team Leader. In each of these roles, they have been responsible for technology planning, setting the long term technical strategy and roadmap, providing visible leadership for the company, and executing the technology strategy for platforms, partnerships and external relationships.
Glenn Walker has a diverse education history. Glenn attended Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe from 1988 to 1995, where they completed their GCSE and A-Levels. Glenn then completed a BSc in Computing at Loughborough University from 1995 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Walker has obtained several certifications, including an MIET Professional Membership from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in June 2015, an MBCS Professional Membership from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in April 2015, an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in September 2012, an ILM Introductory Certificate in First Line Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) in June 2007, and a Private Pilots Licence from the Civil Aviation Authority in August 1994.
