Brian Lund

Brian Lund is a Principal Engineer at TripIt since November 2011, specializing in designing and developing services, tools, and processes using agile methodologies to create stable, scalable APIs, web frontends, and background jobs. Key projects include transitioning a monolithic architecture to microservices, developing an analytics pipeline using Python and AWS, and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms. Prior to TripIt, Brian served as a Senior Software Design Engineer, focusing on cloud migration and distributed task engines. Brian's career also includes experience as a Software Engineer 2 at Concur and a Web Analyst at Pinnacle Family of Companies. Brian holds a BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Psychology from Willamette University.
