Senior Frontend Developer at Triplemint

Scott González has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering field. In 2005, they began their career as a Solutions Architect at Express Dynamics, where they built a highly interactive front-end using advanced, cross-browser JavaScript and jQuery. Scott also created a SOAP API that supports versioning and a PEAR package that utilizes the API to allow rapid development of integrations with the WorkXpress engine. In 2007, they joined the jQuery Project as a Team Member. The following year, they became a Project Lead at jQuery UI, where they standardized API across all plugins and created a widget factory that defines the base functionality for all plugins. In 2008, they joined iContact as a Senior Front-End Developer, where they improved testing efforts by creating a framework to facilitate automated full-page testing without the overhead of launching a browser. Scott also spearheaded the removal of multiple JavaScript frameworks in order to standardize the application on jQuery. In 2010, they joined appendTo, LLC as a System Architect, where they designed and implemented AmplifyJS, an open source JavaScript library. Scott also worked with the Microsoft Patterns & Practices team to review and improve documentation and example code for Project Silk. In 2015, they joined Clipper Magazine as a Lead Front-End Developer, where they introduced agile development practices and improved team communication and collaboration. Currently, they are a Senior Frontend Developer at Triplemint.

Scott González attended Juniata College from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a B.S. in Software Engineering and Web Development.
