Johnny Elder

Johnny Elder is a Technical Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer at TRIPP. Johnny has over seven years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud migration, anti-fraud features, and process enhancements.

Johnny Elder started their career as a Software Engineer at textPlus in March 2013. Johnny led a development team to optimize/refactor core services for migration to Google Cloud, utilizing YAML configuration, Sprint Boot, Java 8, and service oriented architecture. Johnny also coordinated with the operations team on Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and migrating 100s of GBs of data to the cloud.

In January 2018, Johnny Elder was promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they worked with product directors and the C-suite to strategize on and develop anti-fraud features. Johnny also collaborated on technical and business requirements/specifications, and coordinated task creation and resource management. Johnny reviewed and contributed to SOWs and investment proposals, and defined and implemented process enhancements such as cadence of service releases with continuous integration and deployment tools, communication between development and product teams through optimization of SCRUM and Kanban workflows, and documentation of best practices for engineering and QA teams.
