Kaitlyn Dering

Kaitlyn Dering has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and digital media. Kaitlyn started their career as a Freelance Videographer for the Greater Kingsport Family YMCA, where they created a promotional video for their Diabetes Prevention Program. Kaitlyn then worked as a Graphic Designer at Tate's Day Camp, where they designed unique apparel for the campers. Kaitlyn later joined Lifetouch as a Photographer, responsible for producing student and group portraits. Kaitlyn then worked as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps, teaching digital media skills to children and young adults. Kaitlyn also interned as an Animation Intern at S.P.I. III Industries, where they created animation sequences for characters in games. Kaitlyn'smost recent role was as a Senior Game Play Animator at Hi-Rez Studios. Currently, they hold the position of Game Play Animator at Tripwire Interactive. Throughout their career, Kaitlyn has demonstrated skills in animation, rigging & skinning models, technical animation, visual scripting, and creative problem solving.

Kaitlyn Dering pursued their education at East Tennessee State University from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media: Animation. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
