Scott Coleman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Scott started their career as a Foreign Exchange Trader at Lloyds Bank International in 1979 and later worked as a Sales Representative at Banque Francaise du Commerce. In 1984, they became the Managing Director at A-L Associates, where they handled executive recruitment and staffing. In 1995, they joined Kenzer Corp. as an Executive Recruiter, specializing in the financial services industry. Scott then worked as an Executive Recruiter/Consultant/Career Coach at DHR International & JobPlex for a decade and built a financial services industry group at Kenzer Corp. From 2002 to 2013, they served as a Cycle Instructor at YMCA Southdale. Scott then took on the role of EVP, Business Development at TriWorth, focusing on recruitment process outsourcing and on-demand recruitment. In 2015, they became the Vice President of Client Success & Relationship Management at TriSearch, where they provided talent recruitment and HR solutions to clients.

In 1974, they began their undergraduate studies at Rollins College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Scott completed their degree in 1978.

After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended Rollins College's Roy E. Crummer School of Business from 1978 to 1979, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.

In 2014, they attended the University of Minnesota, where they received a Human Resources Generalist Certification in Human Resources Management and Services.

This certification was obtained in June 2014 from the University of Minnesota.
