Robert Tanner is a seasoned Project Design Engineer at Triumph Gear Systems, Inc. since April 2020, with a long-standing tenure at Triumph Gear Systems starting in October 2013 as Sr Design Engineering Manager. With a focus on the planning and execution of aerospace primary and secondary drive systems, Robert has extensive experience in risk identification and mitigation, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery throughout project lifecycles. Previously serving as Project Engineering and Manager of Engineering Services at Triumph Group, Robert managed advanced aerospace engineering teams dedicated to new product design and development for both commercial and military applications. Prior experience includes a managerial role overseeing Manufacturing Engineers at Triumph Gear Systems, focusing on the manufacture of aerospace components and assemblies. Robert holds an extensive educational background in Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Statistics, and Civil/Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from prestigious institutions, including Villanova University and the University of Utah.
