Harrison Barnes is a professional basketball player with extensive experience in both sports and business. Since 2012, Barnes has played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and serves on the Board of Directors for the NBA Foundation. Barnes is also the Principal at Harrison Barnes & Co and holds positions on the Board of Directors for Triumph Bancorp, Inc. and USA Basketball. Additionally, Barnes was the Secretary-Treasurer of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) from March 2021 to July 2024 and served on the Board of Directors for First National Bank until April 2023. Barnes gained experience in investment banking as an intern at Morgan Stanley and completed an internship in strategic planning at Facebook. Educationally, Barnes studied at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, working towards a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, and graduated from Ames High School.
