Forrest Olson

Forrest (Trey) Olson has extensive experience in the field of tax. Forrest (Trey) started their career at Ernst & Young in 2005, where they progressed from a Staff member to an International Tax Senior Manager. During their tenure at Ernst & Young, they provided advice to multinational clients on international tax planning strategies and was responsible for drafting tax technical memoranda and preparing/reviewing international tax returns and forms. In 2017, they joined Hudson Advisors L.P. as the Director and Senior Tax Counsel, a position they held until 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Tax at Trive Capital.

Forrest (Trey) Olson has a diverse education history. Forrest (Trey) obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law from 1999 to 2003. Forrest (Trey) furthered their education by earning a Master of Accounting and Information Management degree with a focus on Taxation from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2004 to 2005. Forrest (Trey) also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business from 1999 to 2003. Their undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Oklahoma, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, Forrest (Trey) Olson holds the certification of "Attorney and Counselor at Law" from the State Bar of Texas.
