Mervyn Edwards is the Head of Structural Crashworthiness at TRL, a position held since 1996. Prior to this role, Mervyn served as a team leader in numerical modelling at BAe Systems - Royal Ordnance from 1991 to 1996. Mervyn earned a BSc (Hons) 1st class in Physics and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics, focusing on shock and detonation waves in two-phase media, both from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.
