Kiama Peter

Kiama Peter is a strategic leader with extensive experience in the non-profit sector, focusing on organizational management, development, and human rights. Kiama currently serves as the Executive Director of HAKI YETU TRUST and previously held notable positions including Pioneer Board Chairperson of the Civic Freedoms Forum and Secretary General of the East Africa Civil Society Forum. Kiama has contributed significantly to governance and human rights initiatives in Kenya, notably during the post-election violence humanitarian response with Trócaire. Kiama holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Kimmage Development Studies Centre in Ireland and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Public Administration at Moi University.
