Peter Heaney

Peter Heaney currently serves as the Head of Region for Northern Ireland at Trócaire, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Peter was the CEO of TEAM HOPE Ireland from April 2018 to August 2023 and worked at GOAL Global from November 2013 to March 2018 in various roles, including Programme Specialist and Deputy Operations Manager, managing significant funding contracts and donor relationships across multiple countries. Earlier experience includes positions with Irish Aid, Siyabhabha Trust/Caritas South Africa, and the Geary Institute at University College Dublin. Peter holds an MSc in Development Studies and a BA in History and Politics from University College Dublin.
