Max Hennick

Max Hennick has a diverse work experience in various roles. Max started their career as a Shift Manager at Burton Ultramar/ NB Liquor Outlet from June 2013 to September 2016. Max then worked as a Data Researcher at BioNB during a summer internship from June 2016 to September 2016. After that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick from July 2017 to September 2017. Max then pursued self-employment as a Tutor from September 2014 to April 2018, primarily focusing on tutoring calculus but also covering subjects like linear algebra, Python programming, physics, and statistics. From April 2018 to December 2020, Max worked as a Deep Learning Specialist at the Research and Productivity Council. In this role, they conducted research and developed machine algorithms for solving complex problems in industrial automation, with a focus on computer vision, semi-supervised learning, and reinforcement learning. Since December 2020, Max has been working as a Principal Data Scientist at TrojAI Inc. Here, they focus on researching and implementing methods to improve the robustness and generalization of vision models, particularly through the application of self-supervised learning.

Max Hennick completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of New Brunswick, a four-year program that they pursued from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's of Science degree in Applied Mathematics at the same institution from 2019 to 2020.
