Mitchell Newell

Mitchell Newell is an experienced software engineering manager and developer currently working at Trolley since August 2022. In this role, Mitchell has contributed to the maintenance and development of Tax and Pay products, led integrations with Cross River Bank and Citi Bank, and played a key role in the design and release of Trolley's Sync and EU Tax products. Prior to Trolley, Mitchell worked as a software developer at Reach, leading UI redesigns and service migrations, and at Helcim, where responsibilities included building Kubernetes environments, implementing ArgoCD, and enhancing security measures. Mitchell began a career as a software engineering intern at Arterys, contributing to backend process development. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary.
