Jeff Young has extensive experience in the field of process technology and operations, spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Process Technician at Tronox since 2000, Jeff has held multiple roles, including Production Supervision and Operations Trainer, contributing to the production of high-performance TiO2 products. Prior to this, Jeff gained valuable experience at Rio Tinto Minerals as a Production Supervisor and Operations Specialist, overseeing a significant workforce at the Mt Brockman Iron Ore Mine and commissioning the Yandicoogina Iron Ore Plant. Additional experience includes positions at KCGM, Newcrest Mining, Barrick Gold Corporation, Bechtel Clough JV, Whim Creek Consolidated, and an early background as an Apprentice Mechanic at High Performance World. Jeff holds a Diploma in Chemical Process Technology and various certifications related to psychometric testing and training and assessing.
