Lee Pendleton

Lee Pendleton is a Mine Reliability Engineer at Tronox since November 2013, contributing to the operation of the world's largest trona mine, managing a longwall operation that delivers approximately 12,000 tons of ore daily for processing. Prior experience includes roles as a Reliability Engineer at Westar Energy from March 2008 to October 2013, where responsibilities involved ensuring the reliability of the Jeffrey Energy Center, the largest power plant in Westar's fleet, and at Cargill from February 2006 to March 2008, focusing on the reliability of the company's largest fixed asset. Lee's career also includes serving as a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer at Trane from April 1998 to February 2006, managing preventative maintenance for CNC machining centers and production equipment at the world's largest chiller manufacturing facility. Lee Pendleton holds a BS in Physical Sciences with a focus on Electro Optics from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a License in Marine Engineering from the Calhoun School of Marine Engineering.
